From September 20 to 23, the 2026 World Manufacturing Convention was grandly held in Hefei. With the theme “Intelligent Manufacturing Creates a Better World,” the convention focused on cutting-edge fields such as new energy vehicles, quantum technology, and artificial intelligence, showcasing global advanced manufacturing achievements. It attracted more than 2,000 guests from over 50 countries and regions, with more than 15,000 exhibits on display. Zhao Kuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Anhui Tiankang Group, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the convention and the 2026 National Forum on Building a Manufacturing Power. Leveraging this world-class industrial platform, Anhui Tiankang Group showcased its development achievements in the instrument and meter industry and its independent innovation strength.
Tianchang, Chuzhou, is an important instrument and meter industrial base in China, hosting more than 500 instrument and meter-related enterprises. Its products account for 40% of the national market share, and its temperature instruments have ranked first nationwide in production and sales volume for many consecutive years. In recent years, Anhui Tiankang Group has deepened industry-academia-research collaboration and joined forces with universities to concentrate efforts on technological breakthroughs, achieving domestic substitution for core components such as high-precision sensors and temperature measurement chips. The performance of the relevant products has reached internationally advanced levels, effectively resolving bottleneck problems in key components.
During the convention, Chairman Zhao Kuan was interviewed by several mainstream media outlets. He stated that the World Manufacturing Convention is an important window for Anhui’s local industries to connect with the world. On the morning of September 21, Chairman Zhao Kuan led a delegation to visit the major exhibition areas of the convention. He also gave the media a detailed introduction to the Group’s core innovative products and exchanged views with industry peers on new trends in intelligent manufacturing development.
