On the morning of October 16, the inaugural meeting of the Anhui Instrument and Meter Industry Association was held at the Rongyu Hotel in Tianchang City. The meeting elected the association’s first council and leadership team. Anhui Tiankang Group, as a major initiating organization, was elected as the president unit, and Group General Manager Mao Wenzhang was elected as the first president. The association and its Party branch were unveiled simultaneously, marking that Anhui’s instrument and meter industry has officially moved away from “working alone” and entered a new journey of “collective development.”

Leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Anhui Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Tianchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and other relevant bodies attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The China Instrument and Control Society, the China Instrument Manufacturers Association, the Zhejiang Instrument and Meter Industry Association, and relevant academicians and experts sent congratulatory messages respectively. Li Junbo, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and First-Level Inspector, unveiled the association and presented a plaque to the newly elected President Mao Wenzhang. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Vice Presidents, and Secretary-General were successively presented with plaques, and the Director of the Association’s Expert Committee was issued a letter of appointment.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Mao said that he was deeply grateful for the trust and mandate of the member representatives and felt both greatly honored and keenly aware of the heavy responsibility and sacred mission. On behalf of the newly elected council, he expressed sincere thanks to the Anhui Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, and the industry and information technology departments for their care and support in the association’s preparation; to the China Instrument and Control Society and the China Instrument Manufacturers Association for their careful guidance; to the Tianchang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government; and to all enterprise colleagues who actively participated in initiating and preparing the association. Mr. Mao stated that the first council will uphold the association’s purpose of “serving enterprises, pursuing coordinated development, and enhancing capacity,” fulfill its duties diligently and responsibly, and strive to build the association into a first-class industry association trusted by the Party committee and government, relied upon by the broad membership, and widely recognized by society. It will carry out its work around the “four commitments” of adhering to Party building leadership, operating the association in accordance with the law, putting service first, and upholding openness and coordination, and will burnish the “Huiyi” brand. At the same time, the association will rely on platforms such as the Anhui High-End Intelligent Instrument and Meter Characteristic Industry Innovation Research Institute and the China Association for Science and Technology “Sci-Tech China” Industrial Science and Technology Service Team to regularly organize technical training, standards promotion, and supply-demand matching, help member enterprises solve practical challenges such as digital transformation, technological breakthroughs, and standards formulation, and promote Anhui’s instrument and meter industry toward high-end, intelligent, and international development.
As the president unit of the association, Anhui Tiankang Group will fully support all the association’s work, work with all members with one heart and one mind and pool wisdom and efforts, and join hands with industry colleagues across the province to make the Anhui Instrument and Meter Industry Association distinctive, high-level, and influential, contributing Tiankang’s strength to the high-quality development of Anhui’s instrument and meter industry and to the building of a modern and beautiful Anhui.
